In 1968, Tague’s Philadelphia location was moved from 10th & Columbia Avenue to a large facility at the corner of Belfield & High Street in Germantown. Tragically, on Christmas Night, 1975, a fire destroyed the entire yard. Determined to overcome the setback the Tague family rebuilt the lumber yard into a more modern facility including large warehouses that keep material in perfect condition and an innovative racking system that provides fast, “in and out” pick-up service and drive-thru loading.

Tague Lumber rescued me from a stalled bathroom remodel and finally got me back on track. I never realized all the little details that I hadn't yet addressed and the designer at the Tague Showroom helped me finalize the project. She absolutely understood the look I was after and we ended up with a product that's clean and neat and everyone loves!
