In 1968, Tague’s Philadelphia location was moved from 10th & Columbia Avenue to a large facility at the corner of Belfield & High Street in Germantown. Tragically, on Christmas Night, 1975, a fire destroyed the entire yard. Determined to overcome the setback the Tague family rebuilt the lumber yard into a more modern facility including large warehouses that keep material in perfect condition and an innovative racking system that provides fast, “in and out” pick-up service and drive-thru loading.

When beginning our kitchen renovation our carpenter took us to many sites to shop for cabinetry, we could not find the selection or quality we were looking for until our visit to Tague Lumber. The showroom had awesome displays with endless design possibilities. The staff is a pleasant professional design team and any question or concern (large or small) was managed painlessly.
