Historic renovation projects often need custom-manufactured windows to replace ones damaged over time. At Tague Lumber’s Custom Millwork Division, we can match any window or handcraft interior and exterior window parts (such as sills and casings) in order to help restore a historic home to its original beauty. We also work with builders and architects to make custom windows for new construction, remodels, and additions. Commonly used materials are many species of wood, Azek, and MDF (for some interior window components).
We are often asked to make custom transoms, the relatively small horizontal windows surmounting doors or other windows, because their size and designs are so variable; similarly, we create custom fanlights, transoms with a semi-circular or elliptical top curve.
