COURSE DESCRIPTIONS:

Session One: Residential Framing for Green Certification (BLS900) 1 CEU/HSW
Identifies the process of building a case and the credits for iLevel products and services for a LEED home certification. Using the ICC-ES Save report that prequalifies Weyerhaeuser TrusJoist products and services to the major green certification programs and how each green requirement can be met.

Session Two: Opening the Door to Green Building & Sustainable Design
This course explores how MDF and Wood stile and rail doors fulfill Green Building principles and contribute to LEED certification. At the end of the program, participants will be able to:

• Understand how doors can contribute to Green Building and Sustainable Design.
• Understand green product options for paint grade doors that contribute to LEED Credits.
• Understand green product options for stain grade doors that contribute to LEED Credits.
• Understand ways door manufacturers can contribute to green manufacturing & sustainable practices.
