Tague Lumber | Doylestown
As you know, in June of 2014 we announced our expansion into the location previously occupied by Doylestown Lumber & Millwork. At the time, Doylestown Lumber had a strong presence in the Bucks County market. Therefore, their decision to close created a valuable opportunity for Tague Lumber to grow.
Soon after moving into the site, we recognized the need for a larger and more advanced facility. Because of this, we developed our Doylestown lumber yard operations to better support customer demand. Today, our Plumsteadville location features drive-through warehouses and fast, dependable delivery service.
Working through the renovation process proved challenging. However, the transformation of both the lumberyard and retail areas was completed within the year.
Full-Service Lumber Yard & Design Showroom
In Spring 2015, construction began on a new showroom. Then in Fall 2017, we proudly opened the Tague Design Showroom at our Plumsteadville location.
Today, our Doylestown lumber yard in Plumsteadville serves as a hybrid facility. This location seamlessly combines a full-service lumber yard with a 4,500 sq. ft. design showroom. Customers can walk directly from the retail area into a space featuring kitchen and bath cabinetr, windows, doors, hardware, moulding, and millwork displays — all in one place.
In addition, we have certified kitchen and bath designers on staff and available to help effortlessly guide your project from concept to completion. Visit our Doylestown/Plumsteadville location to experience one-stop shopping at its finest and explore constantly updated displays for inspiration.
In addition to our Doylestown showroom, customers can visit our Malvern Showroom for design inspiration as well.
Fun Fact!
Our Doylestown/Plumsteadville location has also been the site of memorable community events, including setting a Guinness Worlds Record for the most people “Knocking on Wood” at the same time. Over 600 people from Bucks County turned out to participate in our record-setting event.
