In 1968, Tague’s Philadelphia location was moved from 10th & Columbia Avenue to a large facility at the corner of Belfield & High Street in Germantown. Tragically, on Christmas Night, 1975, a fire destroyed the entire yard. Determined to overcome the setback the Tague family rebuilt the lumber yard into a more modern facility including large warehouses that keep material in perfect condition and an innovative racking system that provides fast, “in and out” pick-up service and drive-thru loading.

I shop at Tague because the service is better, the materials are superior, and the sales staff know their stuff. Everyone at Tague just seems to be happy doing their job. It makes a difference in the quality of service. I like that Tague is a growing company. I am too. I enjoy doing business with a local company that wants to better themselves...just like me.
