At Tague Lumber, our Millwork Division specializes in bringing your custom designs to life using wood, PVC, and MDF. Whether you’re aiming for traditional or contemporary details, we can craft nearly any architectural feature to meet your needs. We work with a wide range of hardwoods including customer favorites such as: Red Oak, White Oak, Walnut, Maple, Poplar, and Sapele Mahogany;  many other species are available upon request. PVC and MDF are also excellent options, offering durability, versatility, and a smooth surface which is ideal for painted finishes.

With our CNC router and PVC bending oven, we can create custom wainscot, beadboard, and a variety of curved components such as jambs, mouldings, and barrel vaults. All products are available in both paint-grade and stain-grade materials.

How many species of wood do you offer?
Our most popular wood species are:  Poplar, Sapele Mahogany, Red Oak, White Oak, Birch, Cherry, Maple, Walnut, Pine, Teak, Black Locust, or any wood species a customer requests.

How well do wood doors and windows hold up?
When properly finished and regularly maintained, our wood doors and windows are built to last the life of your home or business.

How long does it take to get a door or window?
Typical turnaround is 6 to 8 weeks, depending on material availability, order volume, and project complexity. Please call us and we will do whatever is possible to ensure your order is delivered in a timely manner.

How long does it take to get custom moulding?
Average turnaround time is from 1 to 3 weeks. Production and delivery times will vary based on the footage. Please call us and we will do whatever is possible to ensure your order is delivered in a timely manner.

Can I get a sample of a custom moulding?
Yes!  We offer full-scale 3D-printed samples (approximately 4 inches long) for most custom profiles. For a small fee, these samples are typically ready within one week.

What hardware do you supply?
We provide Baldwin, EMTEK, or Von Morris hinges in the finish of your choice. For exterior doors we supply either Pemko or Dorbin thresholds in either bronze, satin nickel or aluminum, and Q-LON weather stripping in either brown or beige. For exterior doors we can also supply Hoppe or W&F multipoint locking systems. For twin doors, we will install multipoint hardware or astragals and flush bolts. We will install other hardware of your choice, including mail slots, specialty hinges (Tectus, Soss, Rixson, etc.) to meet your design requirements. At an additional cost, we can prep and supply Omnia, Baldwin, Von Morris, Emtek, Schlage, or any other handleset that you desire.

Can I buy directly from you?
Yes. We sell directly to customers without requiring a distributor or retailer.

What is the ordering process?
Our Moulding Profile Catalog is available on this website. If you see a profile you’d like, just call us with the profile number, linear footage, and preferred wood species. We’ll provide a price per foot and begin production once we receive your approval.

If you don’t see the exact profile you need, contact us. We can create custom profiles to match your existing trim.
