During your initial meeting, a Tague design professional will gain a comprehensive view of your wants and needs so they can help crystallize your design vision. Our unique questionnaire further clarifies your lifestyle needs. A visit to the client’s home to measure the space helps the designer understand the use and flow desired, and aides in developing a budget range for the project. The beauty of a truly livable space is the end goal. Our staff approaches each project with the same enthusiasm they would if they were working on their own home — that’s what makes Tague unique.
The designer then creates sketches and develops product recommendations for cabinetry and countertops that get presented to the client at the next meeting at our Showroom. Once a retainer is provided, the designer and customer will fine-tune the chosen plan by selecting finishes, colors, and hardware. This selection process allows determination of a final budget. Once the designer makes detailed elevations and drawings, the project is ready for client approval and the components are ordered (a process that usually takes between six and ten weeks until delivery).
Although we don’t do installations ourselves, we can recommend a trusted subcontractor. We also make a site visit during installation to make sure everything is going according to plan and that our customer is completely satisfied.

Choosing moulding for a remodel or new construction project can be daunting, as there are so many moulding profiles from which to select. Tague Lumber has made it easy to coordinate crown, base, wainscot, and other sorts of moulding by putting together architecturally cohesive moulding collections. These are on view at the Design Showroom. Our staff can also advise you on other options among in-stock, special-order, and custom mouldings, including giving you samples pieces to try out at home.
