In 1968, Tague’s Philadelphia location was moved from 10th & Columbia Avenue to a large facility at the corner of Belfield & High Street in Germantown. Tragically, on Christmas Night, 1975, a fire destroyed the entire yard. Determined to overcome the setback the Tague family rebuilt the lumber yard into a more modern facility including large warehouses that keep material in perfect condition and an innovative racking system that provides fast, “in and out” pick-up service and drive-thru loading.

The designers at the Tague Showroom are great to work with! Everyone is very pleasant with a great eye for coordinating colors and textures. They helped me select three sets of area rugs for my formal living room, dining room, center hall, and stairway and two coordinating fabrics for custom drapes. The colors had so much dimension and style to our home. I look forward to working with the Tague Showroom staff on future projects, specifically refinishing our basement in the winter.
