THE VISION FOR THE FUTURE COMES FROM THE PAST
Planning for the future and for how the company will serve its markets while being prosperous is one of Tague Lumber's greatest challenges.
It encompasses planning of every aspect of the business: personnel, technology, operations, manufacturing, finance, sales and marketing. Tague Lumber continues to meet the challenges of surviving in a competitive marketplace by searching out new and innovating products to add to their mix and by adding value to the building materials selling process.
The founder of Tague Lumber understood that for his business to grow and flourish, the community, which the business serviced, also had to grow and flourish. He took a role in propelling community growth and even more importantly gave back both in service and substance to the business, religious and social communities to which he was committed, a practice that has continued through four generations.
"We have been fortunate to have an individual in each generation that has willed the business to succeed and be willing to work hard enough to achieve that continued success."

"One of the benefits of working in a family business is having the flexibility of the give-and-take relationship. Common sense, good judgment."
